Job Title: Software Engineer

Department: Development

Reports to: Managing Director

  1. Summary / Purpose of Position:
  2. Collaborate with traders and researchers to design, develop, test, and support proprietary trading platform to capture opportunities in electronic capital markets.

  3. Essential Duties & Responsibilities for this Position:
    • Build and maintain robust, scalable, and low latency trading software.
    • Participate in collaborative discussions and problem solving with multiple stakeholders.
    • Help improve and evolve software design and maintenance workflows and practices.
    • Mentor team members and improve knowledge acquisition and sharing.

  4. Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEP / STEM field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
    • Working knowledge of modern C++ and Python.
    • Experience with test driven development and continuous integration.
    • Experience developing software for Linux.
    • Understanding of software design principles and algorithmic complexity.
    • Desire to solve complex and novel problems in a collaborative environment.
    • Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.
    • Logical problem solver with the ability to quickly understand new and complex concepts.

Job Title: Trader

Department: Trading

Reports to: Managing Director

  1. Summary / Purpose of Position:
  2. Trade a broad range of financial products on multiple exchanges using internally developed trading models and state-of-the-art low latency technology. Research and develop new trading strategies to capitalize on anomalies in the market.

  3. Essential Duties & Responsibilities for this Position:
    • Price and trade financial products across various markets and asset classes, including futures, equities, ETFs, FX, and cryptocurrencies.
    • Manage positions and formulate innovative trading strategies.
    • Continuously analyse the risk of positions.
    • Collaborate with other world-class traders, developers, and technologists to improve the firm's trading methods and models.
    • Understand relevant regulatory frameworks across markets that the firm trades.

  4. Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:
    • Excellent numerical / analytical skills and affinity for trading and global financial markets.
    • Financial experience is a plus, but not required.
    • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative majors such as Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
    • Practical Python programming experience and superior knowledge of Excel.
    • Competitive, outgoing, and fast decision making skills under pressure.
    • Critical and independent thinking skills.
    • Logical problem solver with the ability to quickly understand new, complex concepts.
    • Pragmatic self-starter with a flexible can-do mentality.

Job Title: Operations Specialist

Department: Operations

  1. Summary / Purpose of Position:
  2. We're looking for an Operations Specialist who doesn't just thrive in fast-paced environments — they own them. In this mission-critical role, you'll be the steady hand ensuring our high-performance trading operations run smoothly, securely, and without a hitch. This is not a role for the faint-hearted — we need someone with an exceptional eye for detail, rock-solid reliability, and the maturity to take full responsibility for keeping the backbone of our business strong. If you're the kind of person who double-checks, triple-checks, and never lets things slip through the cracks — you belong here.

  3. Essential Duties & Responsibilities for this Position:
    • Responsible for reconciliation of Positions, Net Liquidation, Risk and Cash Balances
    • Liaise with trading and counterparties to resolve trade breaks or discrepancies
    • An understanding of the settlement cycles of financial products that trade on exchange and OTC is highly regarded
    • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support trading decision-making and regulatory compliance
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve any operational issues impacting trading activities
    • Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions, processes, and resolutions
    • Provide support during trading hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed to address urgent operational issues

  4. Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:
    • At least a good Diploma in Accountancy or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
    • 0-2 years of experience / internship experience in an operational or financial support role, preferably within a trading or financial services environment
    • Strong proficiency with Excel
    • Strong understanding of accounting, reconciliation, financial operations, including cash flow management, bank transfers, and account reconciliation
    • Extremely high level of attention to detail and sense of responsibility/ownership is required
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • High sense of urgency, ownership, and responsibility in managing daily tasks
    • Knowledge of Python is not necessary but very helpful
