Trade a broad range of financial products on multiple exchanges using internally developed trading models and state-of-the-art low latency technology. Research and develop new trading strategies to capitalize on anomalies in the market.

• Price and trade financial products across various markets and asset classes, including futures, equities, ETFs, FX, and cryptocurrencies.
• Manage positions and formulate innovative trading strategies.

As a Python Engineer at Fenix, you will leverage your expertise in technology and workflows to enhance our trading strategies. Your interest in trading and financial markets, combined with your ability to communicate effectively between trading and software development teams, will be crucial in scaling our operations. You will act as a problem solver and productivity enhancer for our trading team, utilizing existing technologies and infrastructure to achieve significant improvements.

• Develop and maintain pricing graphs for financial products across various markets and asset classes, including futures, equities, ETFs, FX, and cryptocurrencies
• Create and enhance risk monitoring tools to support trading activities
• Analyze large data sets to provide critical insights that drive the trading process
• Collaborate with other world-class traders, developers, and technologists to improve the firm’s trading methods, models, and risk management practices
• Ensure adherence to good code practices, including maintainability and readability

• At least 3-5+ years of professional work experience with Python on large scale systems

Mature self-starter to support operational infrastructure of our trading activities to ensure smooth daily operation of the business. The right candidate will be able to function independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have a high degree of attention to detail. • Oversee and manage day-to-day operational processes, including cash flow management and bank transfers
• Understand the settlement cycle of financial products trade on exchange and OTC
• Responsible for reconciliation of Risk, P&L, and cash balances
• Liase with trading and counterparties to resolve trade breaks or discrepancies
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support trading decision-making and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve any operational issues impacting trading activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions, processes, and resolutions
• Provide support during trading hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed to address urgent operational issues

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accountancy, Economics, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in an operational or financial support role, preferably within a trading or financial services environment
• Strong proficiency with Excel
• Strong understanding of financial operations, including cash flow management, bank transfers, and account reconciliation
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High sense of urgency, ownership, and responsibility in managing daily tasks
